Empowering Families with Food Allergies Through Stories, Resources & Delicious Recipes.
Hi, I’m Monique, a wife and mom of two, and published author/illustrator of the children’s book, Allergy Possible! It’s an inspiring picture book about a child facing the challenges of life-threatening allergies and it emphasizes the importance of positivity by looking at what we CAN DO instead of what we can’t.
I live in a household abounding with food allergies and dietary intolerance. As my family’s allergy diagnoses and food intolerance came to light, a feeling of panic began to mount: That we would never, again, enjoy our favorite foods! (My two children happen to be foodies, so this realization was devastating.)
That was until I recognized that…
“I needed to pick myself up, dust myself off and…get cooking!
So for the past few years I have been experimenting in the kitchen to re-create safe versions of our favorite meals and desserts. My goal is to always aspire to make each recipe taste as much like the real version so that you would never have any idea that it’s gluten and dairy free.
It is my ambition to share these recipes with you to help ease the burden for you and your family, when adjusting to life after an allergy diagnoses. It’s great to realize that we can gain back a slice of normal when we have delicious food options!
My recipes are free of most of the top allergens; yet, you will need to carefully check my listed ingredients within each recipe and substitute suitably to fit your family’s allergy needs.
Thank you for visiting! I hope that you enjoy the recipes as much as my family does. Please feel free to sign up to get my free emails, (located at the bottom of this page), so that you can be notified when I post a new, scrumptious recipe.

This book is such a great idea. It would help a child with these life-threatening allergies not to feel so alone. It would also be great for schools to have in their classrooms to enable children to learn about allergies of classmates. Such a positive book with lovely illustrations.

As a principal and having been a teacher for over a decade, having books like this are critical. Not just for kids who have life threatening allergies but for peers too. It’s beautifully written and visually a home run!
